Almost one year ago the enduring maximum price situation on the markets led to a great uncertainty for the buyers.
“What are the reasons for these price extremes, how will it go on and what are the options to fight against it?”. Those were the main questions of the participants. In the meantime the market situation has highly changed. Due to the strong financial crisis the worldwide real economy - certainly also the steel industry - has suffered. One the one side the falling demand for the central material of the world has led to a recovery of prices, but on the other side it has also changed the world of suppliers. |
